Redbone Guitar Boutique Customer Satisfaction Policy

We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchases, and we look forward to having you all as repeat customers.  After your purchase, or when your purchase arrives, you have a 48 hour approval period (on 'new' items only, see next paragraph).  If you are not satisfied you must contact us within this time period.  If we do not hear from you we will assume you are satisfied and the sale is complete. 

*EXCEPTION: There are NO RETURNS on ‘pre-owned’ (‘used‘) items,  items being sold on ‘consignment’ by another individual, or ‘closeout‘ priced items, all will be marked and advertised as such. Please ask all questions ahead of time, we will be glad to work with you and give you all the information and time  you need to make an informed decision on these kinds of items*

If you decide to return the item during the 48 hour period, we will gladly refund the purchase price once we have inspected the returned item.  Returned items MUST be in the original condition and packing (including owner’s manual, un-used warranty card, any other items that came with the item) in order to qualify for a refund.
We strongly encourage customers to purchase a case or gig bag with any guitar that does not come with one. A restocking fee of up to 20% may be charged for any return, at the discretion of Redbone Guitar Boutique. No refunds are available for “special” ordered instruments ( instruments that were not in stock with Redbone Guitar Boutique and had to be ordered from vendor specifically and only for you). No refunds are available for ‘custom’ ordered instruments (instruments that were ordered with options picked specifically by you and not offered as default option by vendor).
The customer is responsible for all freight charges incurred in the course of the sale unless other arrangements have been made with us.  On many 'new' items we offer FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii & Alaska (and we'll work something out with you folks!) We cannot refund freight charges.

In addition, if you paid by Visa, Mastercard or Discover, we will deduct 3% of the total charge from your refund to cover our card processing expenses.  If you paid by American Express, we will deduct 4%.  If paying by bank wire transfer there will be a $15 transaction fee.  If payment is made by PayPal, any and all fees associated with the transaction/refund. 

Redbone Guitar Boutique will charge a 20% restocking fee for all returned effects pedals.  The only exceptions are for products that are defective.  We do not want to ship and/or sell a pedal unless the buyer knows they want to keep it.

Layaway: You can lay-a-way any product.  This is convenient when you know you want an item but can’t pay for it in full at the moment.  The maximum layaway period is 3 months. This requires a 25% non-refundable deposit.  The item stays with us until it is paid for in full. Please note that if you place an item in layaway you give up the right to a 48 hour approval period. Please do not start a layaway until you are certain that you want the item!

Financing: Redbone offers financing through GECapital.  You can find an application on our website or at the shop.  Purchases over $500 and paid for with your Redbone GECard qualify for
12months of interest-deferred payments.  This means if you pay it off in 12 months, you’re just paying for the item.  After 12 months, ALL of the interest is attached to remaining balance.  Its’ real easy, pay it off in 12 months, and it’s interest free.  Example: $1000 guitar (with tax), put down $200, finance $800.  12 monthly payments of $67. Put NO money down; 12 payments monthly of $84.  Great option to have - give us a call for more information

International Sales: We can ship most guitars and other products internationally.  The prefered method of payment is Pay Pal.  Bank-wire transfers are also accepted.  International credit card purchases may require further security measures.  The item will ship once the payments has been cleared through our bank.  We must add $20 to cover additional costs for international wire transfers.  Shipping quotes are only valid for 48 hours, as shipping costs change with the fluctuation of oil/gas/jet fuel costs. Please consult with your local officials about taxes, duties, currency exchange rates, etc. We do not know what these additional costs to you will be.
